Community Roots, Local Impact

Running a small business has taught Amy that behind every paycheck is a person, a family, and a future. She’s had to navigate the real cost of payroll, healthcare, and paying wages that truly respect her team’s work. That experience shapes how she approaches policy.

Amy was raised in the Catholic faith, where she learned the value of strong families, personal responsibility, and the importance of loving thy neighbor. She later gave back as a Sunday school teacher, helping instill those same principles in her community. Her faith continues to shape her dedication to serving Macomb with integrity and compassion.

Family Values

Amy was raised in a law enforcement family rooted in service and sacrifice. Her father served as a Chicago police officer and was shot in the line of duty before continuing his career as an FBI agent. His courage and unwavering commitment to protecting others instilled in Amy a deep respect for the men and women who risk their lives every day to keep our communities safe.

Respect for Law Enforcement

As a dedicated hockey mom, Amy has taught her children that success comes from hard work, teamwork, and resilience. The lessons learned at the rink—fairness, accountability, and pushing through challenges—extend far beyond the ice. They are the same values that define everyday life in Macomb.
